2 More Walter Zellers Awarded on Kiwanis' 99th Anniversary

  Anna and David were presented with their Walter Zeller Fellowships at the Golden K Meeting on January 21,2014 - the 99th Anniversary of the Founding of Kiwanis.  Congratulations to both who now join the others Zeller Fellows worldwide.

As of December 16, 2013, The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis’s global campaign for children, in partnership with UNICEF, has raised:
Total Funds: US$43,992,179.80 (cash and pledges; US$189.65 per member average)
Total Model Clubs: 607
Total 100K Clubs: 39
Total Lead Gifts: 14
Total Major Gifts: 84
Total Walter Zeller Fellows: 5,106

KIWANIS PROJECT FOR ELIMINATE FOR DIVISIONS 3 AND 4


This is  a Kiwanis Project and an opportunity for each club to sell hockey
tickets and raise funds for the Eliminate Project. Clubs will receive the
credit for the tickets they sell:

Where: Sarnia Ontario
Game: Sarnia vs Ottawa
When: Saturday, 22 February, 2014
Time: 7:05 pm
Price: $20 per adult ticket with $7 of the purchase price going to Eliminate
Project.

Scholarships Presented by Chatham-Kent Golden K

June 27, 2013


The Kiwanis Club of Chatham-Kent Golden K presented Kiwanis Foundation of Canada Matching Scholarships to Brady Hakker and Ryan Nauta. Kiwanian Dennis Myers (left) made the presentations with assistance from club President Elect Eileen Richards (right). Brady, the grandson of club member Joy Moynahan, has completed his first year at the University of Windsor where he hopes to be accepted into law school to become a barrister at law. He has been active as a volunteer with various community organizations. Ryan will be attending Western University in London, Ontario, to study vocal performance. He was the 2013 recipient of the Chatham Kiwanis Music Festival Golden K Kiwanis Bowl, the highest award for vocal. Ryan plans a career performing in concerts and musical productions while teaching vocal music.
