An
Interclub from Sarnia-Lambton Golden K joined many others at the Windsor Club’s
Sunshine Point Camp in Harrow for an appreciation Dinner. Many members from Windsor-Roseland were also
in attendance.
During
the dinner John Foley was presented with a plaque recognizing his many, many
years of service and devotion to the camp.
It was through that dedication that the camp has survived and now others
in the club have picked up the torch and are working to rebuild and rejuvenate
the camp. A Windsor company “Ground
Effects” was also recognized for its generous donation of $50,000 over 5 years
to the camp. Many other companies who
donated material and labour to restore the main kitchen, pool and other cabins
