Eastern Canada and Caribbean District Convention in Aruba!

It all started on Thursday, May 21st in Aruba for convention attendees.  Opening ceremonies was a wonderful array of colour and music, protocol and tradition.

The youth of Aruba who participated were an important part of reminding us why we serve the "Children of the World".  They were given the opportunity to showcase their talents and vitality for life on "One Happy Island".
Forums and workshops were well attended giving fellow Kiwanians an opportunity to brush up on their education, find out the latest information from our District as well as from Kiwanis International.  We were extremely fortunate to have not only our own KI President, Dr. John Button and First Lady Debbie in attendance, but we also had Immediate Past KI President Dr. Gunter Gasser and his wife Christiana at our event.
KI President Dr. John and Immediate Past KI President Dr. Gunter in discussions!

Governor Designate Allen Ure (aka Santa Claus) was also on vacation!
A full report will be posted by LG Cathy.  Stay tuned!!
All attendees enjoyed the fellowship that comes so naturally when Kiwanians get together.
The sunsets were beautiful and rival those that we see over our Great Lakes.

Bon Bini!
